Terms And Conditions

Welcome to CareTouch Cleaning Co. (“CareTouch,” “we,” “our,” “us”). By booking our services, you (“the Client”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions:


1. Services Provided

  • CareTouch provides professional cleaning services for residential and commercial clients, as outlined in your booking.

  • We reserve the right to refuse any job that poses a risk to staff safety or is outside the agreed scope.


2. Booking & Payment

  • All bookings must be confirmed in writing (via email, WhatsApp, or online booking).

  • A deposit may be required to secure your appointment.

  • Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Late payments may incur interest charges at 5% per month.


3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service cost.

  • We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to staff availability, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.


4. Client Responsibilities

  • The Client must ensure access to the property at the agreed time. If access is delayed or denied, additional charges may apply.

  • The Client is responsible for securing valuables and breakables before cleaning begins. CareTouch will not be liable for items not properly secured.

  • Pets must be supervised or safely contained during cleaning.


5. Health & Safety

  • CareTouch uses industry-approved cleaning products and methods.

  • We are committed to the health and safety of our staff and clients. Hazardous conditions (mold, infestations, unsafe environments) must be disclosed before booking.

  • Staff are trained in safe handling, but CareTouch will not accept liability for damage arising from pre-existing conditions (e.g., loose fabrics, untreated stains, fragile surfaces).


6. Liability & Insurance

  • While every effort is made to protect your property, CareTouch shall not be held liable for:

    • Pre-existing damage, wear, or staining.

    • Items that are not colorfast, shrinkable, or unsuitable for cleaning.

    • Indirect, consequential, or financial losses resulting from cleaning services.

  • Any claims for damage must be reported within 24 hours of service completion, with photographic evidence.

  • CareTouch maintains public liability insurance for major incidents but coverage does not extend to items excluded above.


7. Guarantees

  • CareTouch guarantees a professional cleaning service. However, certain stains, odors, or damages may be permanent and are not guaranteed to be fully removed.

  • Re-cleaning requests must be made within 24 hours if the Client is unsatisfied with the service.


8. Force Majeure

  • CareTouch shall not be held liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., load-shedding, extreme weather, strikes, accidents).


9. Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa.

  • Any disputes shall be resolved in the jurisdiction of Cape Town courts.
